Yoga for Health Care is a practice that is based in the roots of Yoga for Stress Management practices and Courtney's years of experience as a yoga therapist. The practice has five specific areas and includes breath work, postures, meditation and relaxation techniques to assist in bringing about the relaxation response in the body. When the body goes into this state (a parasympathetic state) the body can begin to come back into balance (homeostasis).
