Stress Management Yoga is a practice that includes breath work, postures, meditation and relaxation techniques to assist in bringing about the relaxation response in the body. When the body goes into this state (a parasympathetic state) the body can begin to come back into balance (homeostasis).
Courtney works during the week as a Stress Management Specialist for the Dr. Dean Ornish Reversal Program at Saline Heart Group in Benton, Arkansas. On weekends she runs her Registered Yoga School RYS 200 and RYS300 , teaches workshops, and is a presenter at conferences and yoga related events.
Her focus has been on yoga for the whole person since she became a teacher nearly two decades ago. For many years she has taught private and small group yoga therapy. In her school she often trains social workers, medical professionals and those with an interest in teaching a holistic style of yoga.

Hours for Yoga Alliance:
20 hour program
5 hours of non contact
15 hours of contact
This will be part of a 300 hour training that will be open to 200 hr RYT's or those with at least 3 years teaching yoga. Hours are from 9:30a.m. to 6 p.m. with an hour lunch break.
